The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Abram Luque got a free kick in the 2nd minute. When Aziz Kıvılcım fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AKHisaR's protests and gave Aziz Kıvılcım a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of El Salvador booed when AKHisaR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aziz Kıvılcım didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Tugay Değirmencioğlu in the 6th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentino Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aziz Kıvılcım in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. Yakup Hacıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Moises Fernandino. Lefter Demirbaş made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Moises Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halis İlbilge in the 34th minute of play. Marco Tamayo's late challenge caught a AKHisaR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Tamayo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aziz Kıvılcım scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Aziz Kıvılcım came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Yakup Hacıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Fernandino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lefter Demirbaş read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. When Gündüz Tavgaç came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the AKHisaR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gündüz Tavgaç couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a free kick in the 64th minute. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Aziz Kıvılcım received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Zorita came out and tried to block the shot, but Aziz Kıvılcım slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 67th minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Aziz Kıvılcım who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of AKHisaR booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentino Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Abram Luque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Tugay Değirmencioğlu in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute of the match Ergün Özver sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Zorita skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AKHisaR eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
