Telmo Vasconcelos took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the game, Jefferson Donato cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Petardo Futebol e Surf's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Silviano came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Hermes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 45 played minutes Petardo Futebol e Surf got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Matorin. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Donato came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Flavio Silviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Petardo Futebol e Surf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafinha Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Silviano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 68th minute of the match. Oscar Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jefferson Donato scored 4-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Oscar Hermes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Oscar Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Silviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Jefferson Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 91st minute. There was no doubt that Petardo Futebol e Surf were the better team. Petardo Futebol e Surf's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
