After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Silviano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oscar Hermes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. When Oscar Hermes came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Petardo Futebol e Surf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Hermes couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Telmo Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petardo Futebol e Surf's supporters rose to their feet, but Telmo Vasconcelos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Vasconcelos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jefferson Donato to make the kick off. Flavio Silviano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Petardo Futebol e Surf's goalkeeper Flavio Silviano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 66 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Petardo Futebol e Surf's Flavio Silviano. Flavio Silviano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flavio Silviano. That made the score 1-2 in the 68 minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telmo Vasconcelos in the 71st minute of play. Oscar Hermes's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Hermes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Oscar Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Silviano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Petardo Futebol e Surf got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Lara. 84 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Silviano. Petardo Futebol e Surf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Jefferson Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petardo Futebol e Surf's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Flavio Silviano, making the score, 1-5. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Hermes in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute of play forced Petardo Futebol e Surf's goalkeeper Flavio Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Petardo Futebol e Surf fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
