The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Pierres kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th match minute, Guanacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Ekaitz to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Pierres. In the 19th minute of the game Ricardo Hug made a throw-in which Marcelo Mendebal played forward. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Ricardo Hug could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Guanacos's Ricardo Hug got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Arnoldo Tonete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Ekaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Guanacos getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ricardo Ekaitz hit a great ball. A hard shot 36 in the game by Paulo Pierres from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Pierres got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ricardo Hug was slow to take the kick. During this time Guanacos's players had a chance to rest. Angelino Clemencin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Pierres. Paulo Pierres's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Guanacos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Esdras didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Pierres was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Pierres, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Paulo Pierres sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The audience was convinced that Angelino Clemencin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Angelino Clemencin put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Guanacos fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Guanacos's Paulo Pierres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Clemencin in the 70th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Pierres went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 79 minutes, Angelino Clemencin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guanacos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Clemencin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Ler came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Orlandus having to interfere. In the 87th minute Angelino Clemencin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88thth minute of the game Eustaquio Martxelin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Guanacos's Remigio Ler. But to his dismay, Remigio Ler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Guanacos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
