When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Edward Mcdonald took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ferenc Tököli to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th minute, Michael Callaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorrin Briones in the 21st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jorrin Briones made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Schwarzfischer came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Ferenc Tököli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monty Rogers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ferenc Tököli made a huge save. Ferenc Tököli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 43rd minute of play. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorrin Briones went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorrin Briones was the one to do the kick off. Ferenc Tököli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 54th minute of play. Ferenc Tököli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 55th minute of the match. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorrin Briones went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Rapsodas Red Devils FC made a substitution. Herminio Miera replaced Eskil Julin. Jenson Smith scored 2-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferenc Tököli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Cristiano Salah reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Day. The goal made the score 2-4. In the 71st minute Sam Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Tököli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Schwarzfischer in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Campbell in the 80th minute of play forced Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Jerrold Taranco sent off a good shot on target. When USA's Monty Rogers in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. The USA manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Rapsodas Red Devils FC to win.
