CRUZ DEL SUR's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Antonucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edward Mcdonald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zachariasz Dudkowski having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 34th minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Zachariasz Dudkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Pan Lin Zhen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pan Lin Zhen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.
