Anton Pientak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klaus Schultz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, one of THB Herrenalb:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for THB Herrenalb. The referee gave Honduras a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edmundo Espiga, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of THB Herrenalb's Klaus Schultz. 0-1. After 21 minutes, Feodor Hecht made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Klaus Schultz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 37 minutes, Milagros Cabal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the THB Herrenalb players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of THB Herrenalb booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Klaus Schultz. THB Herrenalb's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feodor Hecht stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of THB Herrenalb's Klaus Schultz. Klaus Schultz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Klaus Schultz. Klaus Schultz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Feodor Hecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Anton Pientak threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Klaus Schultz saved THB Herrenalb from getting behind. Edmundo Espiga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Honduras's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Roberto Pöhler kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feodor Hecht, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute of the match, Edmundo Espiga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Klaus Schultz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klaus Schultz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The THB Herrenalb fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
