Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kleanthis Savouridis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, REMALIA's Thodoris Vrotsos got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye REMALIA's goalie prevented a goal. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kleanthis Savouridis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Salvador Gisbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute of play forced REMALIA's goalkeeper Kleanthis Savouridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Pavlos Sotirakis in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 38th minute of play forced REMALIA's goalkeeper Kleanthis Savouridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kleanthis Savouridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

Kleanthis Savouridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thodoris Vrotsos in the 75th minute of the match. Kleanthis Savouridis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 76 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nontas Asimopoulos in the 79th minute of play. If Nontas Asimopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REMALIA's Kleanthis Savouridis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kleanthis Savouridis came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Illescas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 90th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Venezuela eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
