Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Kosina S.A's Özal Gerdaneri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Kosina S.A from getting a goal against them. In the 6th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krisztián Kondor in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Kosina S.A's Emil Skorny got a free kick in the 13th minute. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Özal Gerdaneri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krisztián Kondor in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Özal Gerdaneri made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Özal Gerdaneri in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the game, Ferreirinha Brabo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krisztián Kondor was the one to do the kick off. Özal Gerdaneri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Kosina S.A booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Özal Gerdaneri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 69th minute of play forced Kosina S.A's goalkeeper Özal Gerdaneri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Kosina S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Özal Gerdaneri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özal Gerdaneri having to interfere. Özal Gerdaneri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Sebastián Puig in the 82nd minute of the match. Kosina S.A's Özal Gerdaneri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 84th minute of play. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Felix Montes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kosina S.A the free kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krisztián Kondor. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
