Zygmunt Bielejewski made the kick off and thus started the match. Zygmunt Bielejewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rusi Moskal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tanek Wojtyna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artaç Hendekli in the 8th minute of the match. Witold Bycofski scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Matai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. U21 Poland's Zbyszek Wojtyna got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roman Matai was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rusi Moskal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Batistuta came free, but Tanek Wojtyna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rusi Moskal in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, STAL ST WOLA's Gustaw Bendyk got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Poland's zone, Michel Batistuta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanek Wojtyna came out of the goal and Michel Batistuta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Robertas Lewandowski came free, but Roman Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Zbyszek Wojtyna could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Roman Matai however easily saved by the left post. In the 34th minute Zygmunt Bielejewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Wojtyna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Artaç Hendekli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. STAL ST WOLA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Poland the free kick. After 36 played minutes STAL ST WOLA got a freekick which was hit by Artaç Hendekli. Michel Batistuta hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. With a little luck, STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai got control of the ball when Robertas Lewandowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rusi Moskal in the 47th minute of play forced STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roman Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robertas Lewandowski to strike the kick off in the second half. When Iwan Rzentkowski fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Poland's protests and gave Iwan Rzentkowski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Iwan Rzentkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zygmunt Bielejewski got free with Tanek Wojtyna in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Bycofski in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Robertas Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Matai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robertas Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Robertas Lewandowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Matai was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Zygmunt Bielejewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Tanek Wojtyna made a huge save. Roman Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Bycofski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, STAL ST WOLA's Tanek Wojtyna threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Michel Batistuta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. STAL ST WOLA made a substitution. Gu Xiao Kun replaced Arkadiusz Solecki. U21 Poland made a substitution. Er Håland replaced Robertas Lewandowski. After 78 minutes STAL ST WOLA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zbigniew Pincoski who took care of the corner kick. U21 Poland's Zbigniew Pincoski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roman Matai in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 80th minute, Artaç Hendekli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tanek Wojtyna. The goal made the score 2-1. U21 Poland's Tanek Wojtyna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Bielejewski in the 82nd minute of play. STAL ST WOLA's Mikolaj Lech was substituted for Zygmunt Bielejewski. STAL ST WOLA's Patryk Glogowski was substituted for Baltazar de Amaral. U21 Poland's Tanek Wojtyna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Lech in the 89th minute of play. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Bycofski in the 91st minute of play. Michel Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zdzislaw Kręcina kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Tanek Wojtyna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
