Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicolas Romero took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredinho Aparecido in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Romero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16th minute, Nicolas Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Aparecido in the 26th minute of play. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Atlético Minuano getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Teobaldo Turi hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Atlético Minuano got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Turi. 42 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yuri Loureiro. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Aparecido in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Romero got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicolas Romero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 67 minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho Aparecido came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Alfredinho Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Nicolas Romero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicolas Romero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 84th minute, Dominik Piglowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 1-4 became the score in the 86th minute when Mathias Ortiz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Atlético Minuano played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
