The corner led to Colombia's Luis Cazalla getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Santino Seco notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Classe A Futebol Clube's Sérgio Perez. Sérgio Perez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Colombia booed when Classe A Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 52nd minute of play forced Classe A Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Sérgio Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Ribas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Diego Ribas slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 85th minute.
