Rusty Deering was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 72nd play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rusty Deering. 0-8. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rusty Deering tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rusty Deering was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 78 minute of play. After some careless play in the ForestFire defense, Agustín Saelices kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rusty Deering. The ForestFire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rusty Deering should have stopped the shot. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Rusty Deering made a huge save. Rusty Deering made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rusty Deering tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
