Guanacos's Casimiro Iago tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casimiro Iago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimiro Iago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Casimiro Iago. Guanacos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play forced Guanacos's goalkeeper Casimiro Iago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Guanacos's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Casimiro Iago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of the match. Casimiro Iago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Casimiro Iago came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Casimiro Iago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Iago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Guanacos's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Casimiro Iago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Luis Andino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. In the 46th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casimiro Iago was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-9.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Casimiro Iago in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casimiro Iago didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-10 in the ordered_time% minute. Juan Sebastián Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Luis Andino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casimiro Iago was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 68th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Casimiro Iago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 71 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Guanacos's Casimiro Iago. Casimiro Iago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Casimiro Iago made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Luis Andino took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Casimiro Iago to make any attempt to save it. Juan Sebastián Puig made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luis Andino immediately put the ball in play. Casimiro Iago was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-15 in the 81 minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-16 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casimiro Iago was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-17 in the 86th playminute. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-18 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Casimiro Iago in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-19 without a chance for Casimiro Iago to make any attempt to save it. The Guanacos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
