With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Turek saved GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ from getting behind. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Turek having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Pryputnicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Iwo Kuszczak got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Mikulski in the 32nd minute of the match. Jan Turek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Edmundo Espiga sped through GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan Turek. After 75 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. Krzysztof Prus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Lautaro Navarro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Norbert Mikulski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krzysztof Prus got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd match minute, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Pryputnicki to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Honduras were the better team. Honduras's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
