The supporters of Ecuador booed when A.c Tre dei Frati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Varglien didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, A.c Tre dei Frati's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Pico Bădila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Emanuele Capaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes A.c Tre dei Frati got a freekick which was hit by Gust Amaro. 10 minutes into the match, A.c Tre dei Frati's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Pico Bădila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pico Bădila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 12th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after A.c Tre dei Frati's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.c Tre dei Frati's Pico Bădila did a great save. Franco Varglien was shown his second yellow card after 14 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 15th minute, Franco Varglien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 16th minute of play forced A.c Tre dei Frati's goalkeeper Pico Bădila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuele Capaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pico Bădila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pico Bădila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Esben Mansachs could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pico Bădila quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esben Mansachs in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Esben Mansachs was slow to take the kick. During this time A.c Tre dei Frati's players had a chance to rest.

Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Ecuador's Agustín Saelices getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 55th minute of the match Emanuele Capaldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, A.c Tre dei Frati's goalkeeper Pico Bădila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute. After 68 minutes A.c Tre dei Frati's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pico Bădila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 75 minutes, Gust Amaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.c Tre dei Frati and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, A.c Tre dei Frati's Ferruccio Mori got a free kick in the 77th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Pico Bădila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francesco Cieri struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.c Tre dei Frati. After 90 played minutes, A.c Tre dei Frati's Augusto Viviano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.c Tre dei Frati reached it. The A.c Tre dei Frati fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
