In the 9th minute, Nial Law hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to London Lions getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Rupert Rundle hit a great ball. When Abraham Alguacil came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Alguacil couldn't finish the play. Leandro Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Cambeiro during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. Den Cardwell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Marcos Cotilla skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Matthew Garrido fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Matthew Garrido a yellow card for diving instead. Matthew Garrido hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Den Cardwell in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Den Cardwell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Alex Cambeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bogdan Ghimpu. That made the score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. London Lions's Bogdan Ghimpu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Alguacil struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Bogdan Ghimpu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Bogdan Ghimpu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Miralles in the 71st minute of the match. After 73 minutes, Leandro Guerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the London Lions and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Panama booed when London Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nial Law during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes London Lions got a freekick which was hit by Nial Law. In the 87th minute Nial Law suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Abraham Alguacil charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abraham Alguacil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Den Cardwell in the 90th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Guerra in the 93rd minute of the match. The London Lions supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Panama's performance. The match ended with a win for Panama.
