The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Manzanares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Indiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Frascuelo having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match, Santino Seco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Frascuelo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Guter in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Globalización's Dionisio Guter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Colombia's Axel Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pascual Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Juan Txilar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Globalización's Artemio Urbasa was substituted for Dionisio Guter. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 71st minute of play forced Globalización's goalkeeper Dante Frascuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Globalización's goalkeeper Dante Frascuelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Globalización's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Dante Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Globalización's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Artemio Urbasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colombia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
