Gölle EAC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Miralles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Anselmo Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Anselmo Dunixi. Gölle EAC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 40th minute of play forced Gölle EAC's goalkeeper Anselmo Dunixi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Tihanyi in the 43rd minute of play. When Victor Van Houdtvin fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gölle EAC's protests and gave Victor Van Houdtvin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Panama booed when Gölle EAC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Van Houdtvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Miralles. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Tihanyi in the 47th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Gölle EAC made a substitution. Lénárd Tóth replaced Gusztáv Bánhegyi. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. László Tihanyi was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Lénárd Tóth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Anselmo Dunixi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Felipe Ros charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Ros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Panama:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gölle EAC:s goal. 65 minutes into the match, Gölle EAC's goalkeeper Anselmo Dunixi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. After 67 minutes, Dylan Sarmiento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Gölle EAC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Anselmo Dunixi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 69th minute of the match. Gölle EAC's Anselmo Dunixi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 72nd minute of play forced Gölle EAC's goalkeeper Anselmo Dunixi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 82nd minute of play. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 86th minute. Anselmo Dunixi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Tihanyi in the 91st minute of play. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Anselmo Dunixi made a huge save. The Panama supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Panama would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
