Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. László Tihanyi started the match with the kick off. Anselmo Dunixi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Gölle EAC's Christian Capuozzi in the 13th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jonathan Ferrant was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Venezuela through an amazing save. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tosh Burns was slow to take the kick. During this time Gölle EAC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Lóránd Vörös. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 19 minutes into the match, Christian Capuozzi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. In the 25th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Dunixi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anselmo Dunixi quite easily take care of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Gölle EAC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Anselmo Dunixi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Dunixi came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and László Tihanyi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. László Tihanyi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 40th minute, Leonard Grindeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If György Korsós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Victor Van Houdtvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Gölle EAC getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Victor Van Houdtvin hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Anselmo Dunixi made a huge save. Anselmo Dunixi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With his leg Anselmo Dunixi managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Anselmo Dunixi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 minutes Gölle EAC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Gölle EAC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lóránd Vörös didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. László Tihanyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lóránd Vörös's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lóránd Vörös helped the player get up and apologised. Lóránd Vörös hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Anselmo Dunixi was a little too slow when Patricio Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-3. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Dunixi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Anselmo Dunixi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Lénárd Tóth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Dunixi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Costa went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Anselmo Dunixi made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 95th minute of play forced Gölle EAC's goalkeeper Anselmo Dunixi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If László Tihanyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gölle EAC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Venezuela to win.
