Huckebein's Apolo Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 6th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marin Jumancă in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Terra's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Terra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Huckebein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Terra to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Jumancă in the 23rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Santxol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Apolo Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 31st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Santxol was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Peru's attentive Joaquin Prats managed to snatch the ball when Lucjan Kendra made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Ferit Ayçetin in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Marin Jumancă struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huckebein. Huckebein made a substitution. Wolfgang Dalkvist replaced Marin Jumancă. Apolo Santxol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 61st minute. 68 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apolo Santxol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Huckebein's Mehmet Ferit Ayçetin got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wolfgang Dalkvist in the 78th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Wolfgang Dalkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wolfgang Dalkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 88 minutes into the match, Mehmet Ferit Ayçetin notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Rafael Gallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Santxol was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Lucjan Kendra hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Wolfgang Dalkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Huckebein support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
