Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leszek Henryk started the match with the kick off. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Henryk, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Shao Wei Wei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. After having played for 6 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shao Wei Wei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Eliseo Noboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leszek Henryk succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Godofredo Maule showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 19 played minutes San Martin de Tucumán got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Ekeberg. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leszek Henryk in the 24th minute of play. San Martin de Tucumán's Leszek Henryk got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Godofredo Maule tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leszek Henryk had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Ekeberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Godofredo Maule took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leszek Henryk took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Ekeberg in the 43rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Ekeberg in the 43rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, San Martin de Tucumán's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leszek Henryk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Costa Rica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Leszek Henryk 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-0.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. When Niklas Ekeberg came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the San Martin de Tucumán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niklas Ekeberg couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shao Wei Wei in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Godofredo Maule in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shao Wei Wei in the 61st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Leszek Henryk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godofredo Maule showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Ekeberg in the 66th minute of the match. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leszek Henryk's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Shao Wei Wei put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. The audience was convinced that Shao Wei Wei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 75th minute Leszek Henryk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 minutes of play, San Martin de Tucumán's Leszek Henryk made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Shao Wei Wei in the 81st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Martin de Tucumán's Leszek Henryk got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When San Martin de Tucumán's Leszek Henryk in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Ekeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
