Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Großberghofen's Sven Appenzeller started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Rufus Bangert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Irmin Michalsky sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Großberghofen getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Markus Bechert hit a great ball. Venezuela's Patricio Costa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gerd Della in the 25 minute of the game. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tammo Wunderlich made in the 29th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Odo Uedickoven immediately put the ball in play. In the 31st minute Sven Appenzeller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Sven Appenzeller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Großberghofen's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rufus Bangert came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Rufus Bangert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Großberghofen's Irmin Michalsky. But to his dismay, Irmin Michalsky quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Appenzeller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Irmin Michalsky cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 48th minute of the match Großberghofen got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gerd Della ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gerd Della got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Irmin Michalsky came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Tammo Wunderlich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rufus Bangert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Großberghofen's Rufus Bangert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 64 minutes of play, Großberghofen's Edwin Eberl made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Großberghofen's Irmin Michalsky got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
