Alfredo Ferrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfonso de la Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgo Laev charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgo Laev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, one of Las Lomas Las:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Las Lomas Las. After 17 played minutes Las Lomas Las got a freekick which was hit by Virgo Laev. After 26 played minutes Las Lomas Las got a freekick which was hit by Richard Borden. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darrel Reese having to interfere. Darrel Reese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Freixa made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Benny Brown sent off a good shot on target. Julio Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Chicote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Julio Chicote hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the game, Mario Fernandino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Darrel Reese was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benny Brown made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Benny Brown's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Freixa was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Alfredo Ferrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Darrel Reese made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Benny Brown received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso de la Cruz to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Las Lomas Las's goalkeeper Darrel Reese had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Fernandino. If Alfonso de la Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Roche hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Las Lomas Las's goalkeeper Darrel Reese, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Eduardo Fontirroig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolivia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Darrel Reese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Mario Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Eduardo Fontirroig hit a great ball.
