Comunardo Guerrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Dexter Morgan VR46's Bob Marley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 18th minute, Bob Marley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bob Marley went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute, Bob Marley made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. 37 minutes into the match, Dexter Morgan VR46's goalkeeper Comunardo Guerrini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Bob Marley scored 0-7 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Marley in the 43rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bob Marley in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Bob Marley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomiro Nardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. After 61 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Carvallo. Bob Marley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. When Bob Marley in the 75th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Joaquin Gayoso kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-10 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 81st match minute, Dexter Morgan VR46 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Ciolli to maneuver through the defense. When Kevin Carballal fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Kevin Carballal a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Bob Marley tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute Bob Marley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
