Benito Madrid hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Nicasio Jaizki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Martin de Tucumán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Jaizki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Freixa made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Nicasio Jaizki sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shao Wei Wei got free with Camilo Freixa in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camilo Freixa was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Leszek Henryk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leszek Henryk really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. In the 22nd minute, San Martin de Tucumán's Leszek Henryk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Pawel Sakowicz hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Leszek Henryk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Freixa. That made the score 6-0 in the 28 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alejandro Villa got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 37th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Chicote to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Bolivia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leszek Henryk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. San Martin de Tucumán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicasio Jaizki in the 41st minute. Julio Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Chicote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Julio Chicote hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Fernandino made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Leszek Henryk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolivia's Camilo Freixa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The San Martin de Tucumán fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when San Martin de Tucumán's Leszek Henryk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Shao Wei Wei scored 11-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Niklas Ekeberg scored 12-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by San Martin de Tucumán's Leszek Henryk. But to his dismay, Leszek Henryk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. After 75 minutes of play, San Martin de Tucumán's Shao Wei Wei made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Freixa was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alfonso de la Cruz hit a great ball. Julio Chicote hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Shao Wei Wei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 16-0. In the 90th match minute, San Martin de Tucumán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Gudesteo to maneuver through the defense. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shao Wei Wei in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso de la Cruz. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Francisco Gallo got a free kick in the 96th minute. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Jaizki in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. San Martin de Tucumán had played much better football throughout.
