After a defensive mix-up in Paço Futebol Clube's zone, Miguel Miralles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélio Neto came out of the goal and Miguel Miralles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angélico Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angélico Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Angélico Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermano lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Tomas Berganza sped through Paço Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hélio Neto. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Hermano lago capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hermano lago really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. With an all-out effort, Paço Futebol Clube's Marcos Cotilla threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudemiro Santana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hermano lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Paço Futebol Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
