Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cullan Dimson started the match with the kick off. Dhún na nGall™'s Pat Walker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Dhún na nGall™ from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cullan Dimson, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Braonain McJames took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Dhún na nGall™'s Pat Walker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irwin Keegan in the 19th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Irwin Keegan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dhún na nGall™ getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Aaron Gillmour hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pat Walker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pat Walker having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Dhún na nGall™'s goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Pat Walker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pat Walker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. If Aaron Alcocer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match Braonain McJames shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 72 in the game by Cullan Dimson from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. When Cullan Dimson came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Dhún na nGall™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cullan Dimson couldn't finish the play. Pat Walker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pat Walker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bairthmead Hunt couldn't finish the play. Alan Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dhún na nGall™ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Costa Rica.
