In the 41st minute of the match, Sebastian Villa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jeremy Lane saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

FalconsB FCB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Ivan Nofre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FalconsB FCB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. A collision led to FalconsB FCB getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ivan Nofre hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristo Jakue during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 70 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristo Jakue. When Xavier Costa came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier Costa couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Lane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the FalconsB FCB players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Honduras.
