If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Du Ning Zhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s Du Ning Zhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. Narcis Boaru hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s Horaţiu Babarada got a free kick in the 16th minute. Du Ning Zhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 19th minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horaţiu Babarada in the 23rd minute. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Du Ning Zhi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play forced SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s goalkeeper Du Ning Zhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilie Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augustin Herlea was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s goalkeeper Du Ning Zhi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Du Ning Zhi made a huge save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Teodor in the 61st minute of the match. SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ilie Teodor in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Horaţiu Babarada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horaţiu Babarada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 69 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Herlea came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Teodor came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Mahsun Koçaş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ilie Teodor managed to get in a good position for a shot. SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ilie Teodor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 95 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
