Uruguay's Camilo Franco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fabrício Berger in the 14 minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Cöpacabana FC's Vito Leite. But to his dismay, Vito Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
