The supporters of Gracie Barra booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Falcão Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 5th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 13th minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Falcão Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Falcão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 29th minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Falcão Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Augusto Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Falcão Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Garrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Saldanha in the 40th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Axel Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falcão Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Saldanha made a kick off. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Velloso in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rubens Rezende who took care of the corner kick. In the 56th minute of the match, Axel Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Falcão Cunha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Falcão Cunha made a huge save. Axel Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Falcão Cunha could save by the left post. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Gracie Barra made a substitution. Hugo de Queirós replaced Jamey Hankins. Falcão Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gracie Barra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Ignacio Mastache scored to the left of an out of position Falcão Cunha, making the score, 2-2. When Emanuel de Lara came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Gracie Barra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel de Lara couldn't finish the play. Emanuel de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Falcão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Emanuel de Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gracie Barra's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
