Oséas Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oséas Albuquerque was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Jukatriz's Cleto Matxin. But to his dismay, Cleto Matxin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Oséas Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of the match. Augusto Alcântara hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Cleto Matxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Jukatriz's Cleto Matxin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 44 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arif Ozan Sureha. Nils Airpoel kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Oséas Albuquerque came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oséas Albuquerque read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After 59 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Augusto Alcântara who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Jukatriz's Augusto Alcântara to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Jukatriz booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Ozan Sureha in the 64th minute of play. The corner led Jukatriz's Augusto Alcântara to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Arif Ozan Sureha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Ozan Sureha in the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Jukatriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio do Vale to maneuver through the defense. When Cleto Matxin came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Jukatriz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Matxin couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Arif Ozan Sureha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Arif Ozan Sureha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cleto Matxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere.
