Dinu Oardă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Victor Lucila got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Julio Vera. In the 10th minute, Liviu Frumușanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 2-0. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Oardă having to interfere. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Oardă having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Lucila, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Lucila in the 24th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinu Oardă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Lucila in the 31st minute of play. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dinu Oardă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Lucila. After a rather tough play, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Sorin Gurlui got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Lucila to make the kick off. Dinu Oardă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 50th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Frumușanu in the 54th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Oprescu in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Sorin Gurlui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dinu Oardă. 2-2. In the 65th match minute, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liviu Frumușanu to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dinu Oardă. Dinu Oardă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinu Oardă came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Edwin 雷岩. After a defensive mix-up in MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinu Oardă came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Dinu Oardă made a huge save. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV from getting a goal against them. After 86th play minutes Victor Lucila shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Ernest Oprescu got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Gurlui. After 95 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dinu Oardă came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
