Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Guerau in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, AC 1986 Vinalito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Frichoso to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 56 minutes into the game, one of Mexico:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Dante Lacasa, was totally fooled by AC 1986 Vinalito's Bruno Abeita, who 57 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 66th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richmond De Worteleere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Jax cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bruno Abeita made a great header on AC 1986 Vinalito's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 89th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richmond De Worteleere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 99 minutes into the match, AC 1986 Vinalito's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Richmond De Worteleere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
