Charmander City's Tobias Reuters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Peru booed when Charmander City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Jairo Gaufred fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Tobias Reuters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Tobias Reuters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of the match. Tobias Reuters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play. Gaspar Odol might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Odol ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Odol came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 20th minute of play forced Charmander City's goalkeeper Tobias Reuters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Reuters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Alonso Berganza threw the ball into play from the sideline. Charmander City's Jairo Gaufred quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Reuters saved Charmander City from getting behind. Tobias Reuters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Tadzio kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Charmander City's Tobias Reuters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Golo Dolar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Golo Dolar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. In the 51st minute Golo Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Dolar in the 63rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Tobias Reuters made a huge save. If Golo Dolar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charmander City made a substitution. Natalio Che replaced Alfredo Toth. 81 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Jurgi came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. After a rather tough play, Peru's Alonso Berganza got a free kick in the 91st minute. The throw-in from Cheikha Fellahi in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 93rd minute, Antonio Tenorio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tobias Reuters. The goal made the score 0-1. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Qwinton in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Charmander City throughout the match.
