After 24 minutes Kaliningrad's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonathan Alphonse who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Haiti's Philippe Ambroise getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Noel Seide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ximenes Arganzua, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kaliningrad's goalkeeper Gaur Sempere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Javiero Frias notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. Noel Seide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 38 minutes into the game, Javiero Frias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Noel Seide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Haiti's Ernso Constant quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Moise Sebastian, made in the 47th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Javiero Frias to strike the kick off in the second half. If Vidal Peñin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Claus Ladra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Jonathan Alphonse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaur Sempere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Haiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodney Emmanuel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Kaliningrad booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernso Constant didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kaliningrad's zone, Jonathan Alphonse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaur Sempere came out of the goal and Jonathan Alphonse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Rodney Emmanuel hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Javiero Frias came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Gesner Philippe got a free kick in the 89th minute. Javiero Frias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noel Seide having to make a save. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javiero Frias in the 92nd minute of the match. When Claus Ladra fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kaliningrad's protests and gave Claus Ladra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Haiti booed when Kaliningrad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claus Ladra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Juan-Carlos Obiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kaliningrad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haiti the free kick.
