The FC Aquile Azzurre fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when FC Aquile Azzurre's Federico Bianco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 34 played minutes FC Aquile Azzurre got a freekick which was hit by Wu Fei. FC Aquile Azzurre's Sabin Pânzaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save FC Aquile Azzurre from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Axel Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Sabin Pânzaru to make any attempt to save it. Carlo Borgatello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Sabin Pânzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 56 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Sabin Pânzaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Bianco came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Aquile Azzurre made a substitution. João Francisco Correia replaced Hardy Zingg. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Osvaldinho Queirós, made in the 60th minute of the game. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Aquile Azzurre's Sabin Pânzaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 61st minute of play. FC Aquile Azzurre's Alex Buffone was substituted for Wu Fei. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. FC Aquile Azzurre's Dinç Dede was substituted for Carlo Borgatello. Sabin Pânzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sabin Pânzaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Dinç Dede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Aquile Azzurre's Yuan Xiong got a free kick in the 84th minute. Kevin Mastache who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Sabin Pânzaru's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Kevin Mastache was beeing forced to shoot. Sabin Pânzaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 91st minute of play. Osvaldinho Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Aquile Azzurre's Dinç Dede. But to his dismay, Dinç Dede quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Aquile Azzurre had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
