In the 3rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Zapolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Πυργετός Fc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anthimos Kousouridis in the 11th minute. Πυργετός Fc's Cezary Laba was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Zapolski in the 13th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zisis Vourlis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Πυργετός Fc's Cezary Laba got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 21 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zisis Vourlis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Zisis Vourlis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Zisis Vourlis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. In the 28th minute, Anthimos Kousouridis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Πυργετός Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zisis Vourlis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Zisis Vourlis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zisis Vourlis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zisis Vourlis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Zisis Vourlis. Πυργετός Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 74th match minute, Πυργετός Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthimos Kousouridis to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wit Zapolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Πυργετός Fc's goalkeeper Zisis Vourlis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Πυργετός Fc's goalkeeper Zisis Vourlis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 80th minute. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Πυργετός Fc's Wit Zapolski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zisis Vourlis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Πυργετός Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Martxelin to maneuver through the defense. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Πυργετός Fc's Zisis Vourlis got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
