Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of play forced Sänningstjärns BK's goalkeeper Mito Troyanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mito Troyanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mito Troyanov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 姚阳风 hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Mito Troyanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Peru booed when Sänningstjärns BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gitano Adán didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Mito Troyanov made a huge save. In the 78th match minute, Sänningstjärns BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Gaizko to maneuver through the defense. Mito Troyanov made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. The Peru fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Peru's Rafael Gallo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sänningstjärns BK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peru had controlled the match.
