The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lembit Pentus in the 5th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lembit Pentus in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Utkan Tatu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Walmarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Utkan Tatu in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. FC AnTePiA™'s Alfred Walmarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of FC AnTePiA™ booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Walmarsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Aleksander Skogli struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC AnTePiA™. 31 minutes into the game, Lembit Pentus lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Rolando Noboa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lembit Pentus in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Utkan Tatu in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Alfred Walmarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC AnTePiA™'s Utkan Tatu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Alfred Walmarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes FC AnTePiA™ got a freekick which was hit by Klement Czerner. FC AnTePiA™'s Temel Erkılınç was substituted for Yavuz Ulucan. Alfred Walmarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 68 minutes into the match, FC AnTePiA™'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Alfred Walmarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Anıl Mücahit Yağınalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Lembit Pentus notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 76 minutes FC AnTePiA™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Klement Czerner made in the 78th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Anıl Mücahit Yağınalp. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 84th minute of play forced FC AnTePiA™'s goalkeeper Alfred Walmarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After 90 minutes of play, Peru's Rafael Gallo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfred Walmarsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 93 minutes of play, FC AnTePiA™'s Anıl Mücahit Yağınalp made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The FC AnTePiA™ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
