An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of play forced Sabadim Harammes PRD's goalkeeper Mauro Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauro Cunha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Bălăiță in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peru players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
