After some careless play in the Gracie Barra defense, Koby Wright kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Falcão Cunha. The Gracie Barra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Falcão Cunha should have stopped the shot. Falcão Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koby Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rohan Watson in the 20th minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Velloso made a kick off. Canada played a much better game than Gracie Barra and deserved their victory. The Gracie Barra players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
