An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter George in the 18th minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jax Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Trezeguet in the 19th minute of the match. Conrado Capixaba was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 23 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Cengizhan Baycan came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
