Anselm Kempe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keith Harms in the 21st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Werderaner 04 Volkssport's Wladimir Jungwirth in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Werderaner 04 Volkssport's Bob Seebens got a free kick in the 54th minute. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Werderaner 04 Volkssport's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Rouco heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 74thth minute of the game Wladimir Jungwirth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nestor Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 75th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Romero having to interfere. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great ball. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
