Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bendegúz Ördög got the match started through his kick off. 17 minutes into the match, Nimród Vére's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Krisztián Sydbøge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nimród Vére's Krisztián Sydbøge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Nimród Vére from getting a goal against them. In the 20th match minute, Nimród Vére was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tivadar Sörös to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Nimród Vére's goalkeeper Krisztián Sydbøge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. Santo Berasko charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santo Berasko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costa Rica! After the first half Nimród Vére were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseo Noboa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bendegúz Ördög in the 51st minute of the match. When Efrain Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Efrain Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Márk Kovács sent off a good shot on target. When Lautaro Puig came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Puig couldn't finish the play. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vendel Bíró in the 66th minute of the match. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Márk Kovács. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Carballo during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. Eliseo Noboa might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Krisztián Sydbøge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Noboa ran back to his position shaking his head. Nimród Vére played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
