Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wilhelm Nienhaus took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zé Paulo da Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Elenescu in the 8th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Moritz Hasenjäger dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa, 1-0. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rune Jarstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Wilhelm Nienhaus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 2-0. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zé Paulo da Silva was slow to take the kick. During this time Hertha 1969's players had a chance to rest. In the 30th minute, Emilio Melzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Benedikt Bensch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hertha 1969's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. Benedikt Bensch hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Lüder Roppel made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Elenescu in the 36th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ziemowit Tscherner kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Rune Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Jarstein was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
In the 54th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraim Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Lothar Heber got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 64th minute Wilhelm Nienhaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. After 69 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zé Paulo da Silva who took care of the corner kick. After 95 minutes, Zé Paulo da Silva made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hertha 1969 had won after a very even match.
