Tomas Viviano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Tomas Viviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Tomas Viviano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Defensores del Tiki Tiki defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Viviano. The Defensores del Tiki Tiki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Viviano should have stopped the shot. Tomas Viviano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Tomas Viviano came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Tomas Viviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play. Tomas Viviano came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Agustín Saelices. But to his dismay, Agustín Saelices quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Defensores del Tiki Tiki defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Viviano. The Defensores del Tiki Tiki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Viviano should have stopped the shot. Tomas Viviano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of the match. Tomas Viviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Viviano was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 41st minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Viviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Viviano came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Tomas Viviano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Viviano was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Tomas Viviano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Tomas Viviano made a huge save. In the 53rd minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Viviano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. In the 56th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Viviano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. After recieving a nice pass, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tomas Viviano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 62nd minute of the match. Luis Andino was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Tomas Viviano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 69 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Viviano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. Tomas Viviano was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-18. 93 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-19. Tomas Viviano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Viviano came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-20. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
