Chano Carriazo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Xavion Temes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chano Carriazo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The extreme fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Viator Urizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chano Carriazo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute. In the 60th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chano Carriazo. Chano Carriazo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chano Carriazo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of extreme fc's Chano Carriazo. Chano Carriazo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chano Carriazo made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ecuador booed when extreme fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blasi Rionda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Sebastián Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chano Carriazo having to interfere. Chano Carriazo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 77th minute of play. Chano Carriazo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when extreme fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viator Urizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Luis Andino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Chano Carriazo, passed just outside the right post. Chano Carriazo came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Chano Carriazo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 91st minute. Xesus Pas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
