The supporters of Rinkeby FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ingvar Dahlberg in the 8th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Lautaro Navarro kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Emanuel Falkrantz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Silvano Oihenarte sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Dahlberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corderun Geras saved Rinkeby FC from getting behind. In the 27th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Espiga to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corderun Geras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corderun Geras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Emanuel Falkrantz kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 41stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Honduras's keeper Lautaro Navarro was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Emanuel Falkrantz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Emanuel Falkrantz slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 44th minute. Hjalmar Kihlman's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hjalmar Kihlman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rinkeby FC's Hjalmar Kihlman got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. Corderun Geras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 52nd minute of play. A throw-in in the 55th minute of the game was made by Marcus Säfström with Emanuel Falkrantz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Corderun Geras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Dahlberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Corderun Geras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Corderun Geras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 61st minute. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Joel Nordal fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rinkeby FC's protests and gave Joel Nordal a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corderun Geras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Emanuel Falkrantz in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gabriel Dahlberg in the 81 minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Dahlberg in the 92nd minute of the match. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Rinkeby FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
